God's Diary Home

June 19, 2003. I needed something special for the one year anniversary of God's Canvas. A quality photograph with some witty quote were the obvious solutions, but they did not seem like enough - I wanted something new. I had the idea for God's Diary (which I sometimes misspell as dairy, so you might as well start laughing now) several months ago, when a small stream of "human" stories really touched me. I thought I wanted to share them with people and knew SherpaJen.com was the perfect venue.

The stories will appear on a random basis, according to ... well, life. Things must happen, and I must observe them, or be told about them by others. I welcome input.

I struggled with the title. I grew up with a strong catholic influence, but I do not practice any religion now. Though I am spiritual in that I do believe in a god, a higher power, an energy - something greater than I am. By the title, I mean the essence of god, as a caring and compassionate entity, who would rejoice in seeing good in the world. I sense that in his reflective moments, he would smile at such occurances, and want to preserve them.
